Privacy policy

Effective 15 October 2026

This policy explains how memry7 ("the game", "we", "us"), available at memry7.com, handles your information. The game is operated from Australia. It applies to everyone who plays the game, wherever they live.

The short version

  • Everything you type into the game stays on your own device. We never receive it, see it or store it.
  • Your daily entries are deleted automatically once they are more than 7 days old.
  • There are no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
  • You can erase everything at any time from Settings in the game.

What the game stores and where

The game saves what it needs in your web browser's local storage, on the device you play on. Nothing is sent to us or to any server we run. That information is:

WhatExampleWhere it is kept
Your daily entries"Coffee with Jen"Your device only
Your recall answers and resultsWhich moments you rememberedYour device only
Simple countersDays played, current streak, the date you last playedYour device only
An unfinished listEntries typed but not yet savedYour device only, until you close the tab

Because this information never leaves your device, we cannot see it, recover it or share it. If you clear your browser data, use a private window or switch to another device, your entries will not be there.

Please avoid entering sensitive details about yourself or other people, such as health information or someone's full name and address. The game only needs a few words to jog your memory.

How long it is kept

You can delete everything immediately at any time. Open Settings in the game and choose Erase everything. Clearing your browser's site data for the game does the same.

What we do not do

When you tap Copy my result, the game copies a grid of coloured squares to your clipboard. It contains no entries. Nothing is shared unless you paste it somewhere yourself.

Third-party services

Like any website, loading the game involves two outside services. Your browser connects to them directly, and neither receives anything you type into the game.

The game does not contain links or code from any other third party.

Your rights, wherever you live

Privacy laws around the world give you rights over your personal information. These include the GDPR in the European Union, the UK GDPR, the Australian Privacy Act, Canada's PIPEDA, and the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar US state laws. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Because your entries exist only on your device, you exercise these rights directly in the game: you can view your recent entries and erase everything yourself. We hold no copy, so we cannot provide, correct or delete your entries for you.

If you have a question or concern, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to the privacy or data protection authority where you live.

Children

The game is not aimed at children under 13, or under 16 where local law sets a higher age. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and the game collects no personal information from anyone.

Security

Your entries are protected by your device and browser, like any other website data. Anyone who can use your device and browser may be able to open the game and see your recent entries. Lock your device if that matters to you.

Changes to this policy

If the game changes how it handles information, we will update this policy and the date at the top. If a change means the game would start collecting information from you, we will tell you in the game before it happens.
